◆【One Day In The City】紹介文

2009年からプロのジャズピアニストとして活動を開始、2018年にはTREKKIE TRAXのコンピレーションに参加した異色のトラックメイカーfuishoo、本作は2018年にOMOIDE LABELよりリリースした1stEP「morning」に続く、ヴォーカル～ヴォイスを前面に打ち出した待望の1stアルバム！

「ある一日における群像、情景、ドラマを音楽で表現したいという思い」から名付けられた本作において、その楽曲群は多くの人々の様々なストーリーを写し出したがごとく起伏に富みながらテンポ良く展開していく。

女性シンガーyuukiをフィーチャリングしたアルバムのリードトラックの１つ「花ト成ル」で幕を開ける本作は、アーティストfuishooの多彩なサウンドプロデュースワークを感じることが出来る。同じくyuukiをフィーチャリングした続く「小森詩」では儚くも美しいメロディーに心奪われる。
一転してM3「Two, Four, Six」M4「Ghost Town」M6「Chocolate Is Damn Drug」ではTREKKIE TRAXを思わせるようなキレ味の鋭いエレクトロビートにキャッチーなコーラスが重なるテイストが非常に力強い。
またM5「Youth」M8「Filter Tripper」ではダンスミュージックをベースとしつつJazz～フュージョンやダンスクラシックスの要素が絶妙に絡む様が非常に印象的な仕上がりになっている。
そして極めつけはアルバムのラストを飾る「Broken」だ。美しいピアノの旋律から入るエンディングに相応しいバラード調のチューンかと耳を傾けているとまるで天使と悪魔のような仕掛けが施されている、是非聴いて頂きたい。

本作は様々なサウンドを携わってきたfuishooならではのバラエティーに富んだアルバムであるのと同時に、その高いサウンドプロデュース力及び抜群のソングライティング力が高次元で重なっているから故のクオリティーと説得力が内包されている。
アートワークは広告などでも非常に人気の高いコラージュ・アーティストであるQ-TAが担当。
